My 2nd Blogoversary

Oh my gosh has it really been 2 years!!!!!!!

Well - lemme tell you, it has been!!! And what a couple years it's been. There was that broken ankle of August 12, 2006. There was when we quit smoking pot. There was when we stopped drinking alcohol.

I have dragged a whiney-blanket around this blog many times regarding my darling daughter Amanda. I think The Carpenter's song: "We Go On Hurting Each Other" was written for her and me. Yes.... we had another brawl. I'm so thankful neither of us resorts to fists, because we'd both end up in jail for assault. She pissed me off, I pissed her off, she thought I'd damage her house, I stalked her to her boyfriends house and had a second go-around in the middle of the street. She threatened me, I threatened her... Today is a bad day following a really bad night, following a crying jag on Chris's shoulder this morning. He- by the way - agrees with Amanda that I was out of line. I agree, but it wasn't all my fault.

I have also dragged the whiney-blanket around this blog regarding my darling Christopher. No body in this world knows me as well as him... no body puts up with me, or ever would as he does. Of course we are two halves of the whole. He complete's me... Seven years we've been in this relationship together. Many, Many Many times I was leaving, many many many times he was leaving, but still we're together. I hope and pray that we get 75 years together to figure out what we're doing. I thought I could figure out a way to have a surprise wedding...get his best friend Jeremy to come from Colorado, get everything set up, and have him tux'd and smiling for what would be for him someone elses's wedding. Sadly, that isn't going to work because we have to sign the marriage certificate. Silly laws.

I have dragged the whiney-blanket around about losing my parents, my brother and his bitch wife, my dead brother. Lost clients, lost friends, a blog friend I insulted (and I miss her too), lost my mind somewhere along the line....

Yet through it all has been Pistols, Claudia, Grammie, Ron, Several interesting other bloggers that have made me laugh and cry (thanks Kat and Bert for so many laughs). Thanks all for the support and the wisdom and the reason to laugh and look back, and look forward. I sure do appreciate the friends I've made and those that I have come to care so much about!!!
